Situated on over 11 acres of land, Holmes Iron & Metal, Inc. is a decades-old, family-owned and operated, third-generation business. We have been in the scrap metal and commodity recycling business for over 60 years. Our mission is to move materials responsibly while creating the best recycling experience for our partners.
Third Generation Legacy
With grit and determination, in a time when it was not thought possible to succeed, Mr. Quentin Holmes, Sr. defied the odds and raised his family in the recycling business. His sons and grandchildren continue his legacy of success today as Holmes Iron & Metal, Inc. expands its recycling efforts to decrease the cost of waste. Now in its third generation of being family owned and operated, Holmes Iron & Metal, Inc. continues to promote economic and community prosperity through public and private partnerships, including state and local government, as well as local clientele. Success doesn’t just happen overnight, but began many decades ago with one man and his dream.
